  • Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp
  • Dry red chilli paste – 1 tbsp
  • Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar – 1/2 tsp
  • Water – 1/4 cup
  • Szechuan Sauce – 1 tbsp (if you want to enhance the spicy taste)



For frying:


  • Oil – as required


For the garnish:


  • Raw green chillies (sliced) – 2
  • Onion (chopped) – 1
  • Garlic (chopped) – 5-6 cloves
  • Coriander leaves – a little (for garnishing)


Step by Step Instructions of chili chicken 


Step 1: Marinating the chicken


1. Place chicken pieces in a large bowl.



2. Add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, chilli powder, cornflour, flour and salt to it and knead it well.
